Spirit Grappling Club

Starting on Thursday, September 27th, we are officially launching Spirit Grappling Club. Classes will be every Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 1PM.

Grappling skills are a crucial aspect of self-defense. We offer a place to learn about grappling, wrestling, and ground survival with mature adults.

Spirit Grappling Club differs from other grappling arts in that we focus on real world self-defense. We welcome people who wish to improve their sport skills as well. The sources we combine come from catch-as-catch-can (CACC or catch) wrestling, freestyle, Greco-Roman, Judo, among others.

We take an open approach to students, and will actively help you integrate these concepts into your existing martial art, if you have one. No experience is necessary, and we warmly welcome anyone who is interested in learning.

Classes are friendly and focused on solid technique, and avoid ego driven competition and dominance games. You can expect to have full support for you building your skills and abilities, regardless of where you are starting from.

You are welcome to come try a class for free to see if you like it and it fits your goals of improving your grappling and ground skills. We look forward to working with you on your specific goals.

The cost for this class is $15/class, or $95/month (due on the 1st of the month) and you can come to as many classes as you like. If you are already studying another art through the Spirit Aikido Training Center, the cost is $50/month.

There is no initial registration or signup fee, and there are no uniform requirements for you to meet. All you need is a positive attitude and the desire to learn!

If you have any questions, please contact us and we can answer any you may have.
